Celebrating Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day

Cherry Blossoms
In honor of International Women’s Day today, we share articles of interest that can be accessed from The Christian Science Monitor website.
In celebration of Women’s History Month during the entire month of March, we extend a special invitation to visit The Mary Baker Eddy Library website. Here you can learn more and share about the author of the textbook on spiritual healing, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures. You can also submit questions about Eddy’s life and the movement launched over 100 years ago as a result of her writings and work.
In addition to much information about Mary Baker Eddy, there is also information about other women of historical note, and particularly their relation to Christian Science.
You can access this month’s special podcast about Helen Paul, sister of suffragette Alice Paul. This is part of their ongoing Seekers and Scholars program.
The local group of Christian Scientists in Germantown, MD, has produced an online exhibit of American Women in Religion that they are sharing with the community and that highlights additional women of note in various religions.
Please feel free to enjoy and share these online resources with others.
