“The sharp experiences of belief in the supposititious life of matter, as well as our disappointments and ceaseless woes, turn us like tired children to the arms of divine Love. Then we begin to learn Life in divine Science” (Science and Health, p. 322). When self-knowledge and humility lead us to seek our pure and actual identity in Christ, we feel Love’s forever embrace. (from this week’s Christian Science Sentinel editorial)
Dear Friends,
This week’s podcast discusses seeing one’s self and others spiritually. It is complimented by the editorial The Love that liberates us (quoted above) in the current issue of Christian Science Sentinel. There are also several articles this week that explain the value of taking the two-week course in spiritual healing that is open to anyone studying Christian Science. All articles are available in print and audio format online.
In addition to these and many other online audio resources, there are Reading Rooms located around the metropolitan area where you can talk with someone in person about the spiritual ideas in this Sentinel publication and other online resources mentioned here. Or you can call 240-935-8697 to discuss these ideas.
