“Life after grief” & “We, too, can rise” — Hear the Sentinel Watch weekly podcast on Tuesday at 2:00 pm (Eastern)

Finding freedom

Dear Friends,

As we anticipate Easter, this week’s Christian Science Sentinel focuses on The practicality of the resurrection. Writers share fresh spiritual perspectives and cherished “resurrection moments.”

Join us on Tuesday afternoon to listen to this week’s Sentinel Watch podcasts. Again, there are two podcasts featured this week!

Getting past grief: When one of the worst things you can imagine happening happens to you, can you ever be free from the grief it caused? This week’s guest shares how she did find this freedom. Join us to learn more.

We will listen to this first program and share about the inspiration of this woman’s wonderful healing. Then we will listen to a short conversation with Tony Lobl about this editorial We, too, can rise from the April issue of The Christian Science Journal.

What’s behind the scenes? What was the inspiration behind this particular editorial that draws from the disciples’ greeting ‘He is risen’ and how does it connect with the mission of this magazine?

You can listen to the editorial ahead of time or it will be offered for those who wish to stay on after we hear the conversation with its writer.

We also might take a minute to enjoy this week’s special poem That time in the tomb.

There is much inspiration to share! Please bring your thoughts about ‘resurrection moments’ or a favorite passage about Easter.

We can, and ultimately shall, so rise as to avail ourselves in every direction of the supremacy of Truth over error, Life over death, and good over evil, and this growth will go on until we arrive at the fulness of God’s idea, and no more fear that we shall be sick and die.
(Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, Mary Baker Eddy, p. 406:20–25 We)

Please join us to explore these thoughtful programs.

Please MUTE yourself during the program. (Press *6 if you are listening by phone, please. This will also UNMUTE you as well.)
