Sentinel Watch podcast
Tackling the underlying threat to democracy
There are signs of deep political divisions around the world. Many have polarized into camps in which each side is convinced it is right and is unwilling to listen to the other. What’s the remedy? This week’s guest is Mark Sappenfield, Editor of The Christian Science Monitor, and he’s been thinking and praying a lot about this. He shares what he feels is one of the key underlying issues in this divide, and how we might pray about it, too.
(NOTE: During the month of August, the virtual gathering to listen to this program together will pause for a break. However the current and past programs are always available online.)
Articles in this week’s Christian Science Sentinel address a spiritually unlimited sense of “church”, seeing God as the only true authority in our lives, genuinely loving an enemy, and more. All articles are available in audio format.Visit the NEW AUDIO webpage that features all current podcasts–from the Christian Science Monitor, Christian Science Sentinel,Christian Science Church, and Mary Baker Eddy Library–plus additional audio products!
