When trauma seems to have so many lives in its grip, how can we respond in a way that heals, both individually and collectively? Our guest walks us through her own healings of trauma to show what Christian Science makes possible.
Dear Friends, 

You are invited to join us this week to address this challenge–for ourselves and others–letting go of past experiences and moving forward with spiritual freedom, knowing our ever oneness with God. After listening to this week’s program of how the speaker overcame emotional challenges, we will also look to the current print edition of The Christian Science Sentinelat the article, Healing trauma.  The author explains the spiritual perception that healed her of the effects of childhood trauma.

Regardless of the tragic circumstances any of us may have endured, the spiritual perspective of reality gained through prayer is a promise of hope and healing for everyone. We can move beyond simply trying to manage the effects of painful past events, as prayer helps shift our paradigm from a belief of suffering to a conscious sense of Love’s reality. This inevitably takes us from victimhood to triumph.
