There’s no shortage of advice about mothering and motherhood. But this week’s guest found that for challenges big and small, it was best to go straight to the source—God, the divine Mother of us all.

Have we not all one father? hath not one God created us? …
(Malachi 2:10 (to 2nd ?))
Hath not one God created all of us? So, are we not all brethren with one parent, one Father-Mother God?

You are invited to join us this week to consider this fact.

Articles in the print edition of this week’s Christian Science Sentinel are helpful in addressing many social issues, particularly the personification of evil in dealing with relationships with people and institutions.  The author of the article, Evil personified, quotes this spiritual fact:

The love that recognizes the good in our fellow man and woman is the panacea for all discord, conflict, and hatred. Mrs. Eddy writes of divine Love: “Love rules the universe, and its edict hath gone forth: ‘Thou shalt have no other gods before me,’ and ‘Love thy neighbor as thyself.’ Let us have the molecule of faith that removes mountains,—faith armed with the understanding of Love, as in divine Science, where right reigneth” (The First Church of Christ, Scientist, and Miscellany, p. 278).

We can also apply this fact of God’s Love for all to challenges covered in the new Monitor series covering discussions and decisions on granting reparations, a subject being considered in many cities and countries.
