You’re Invited. This week, a special Welcome Wednesday gathering! Author Talk with David A. Grier, PhD, who has expertise and experience in Statistics and Technology. Dr. Grier will join the gathering on Wednesday to discuss his September 2026 CS Journal article on human thinking in the era of Artificial Intelligence or AI. He will help unpack his Journal piece as well as other AI related articles from the Monitor and Sentinel and take our questions.

He is a retired professor and associate dean at George Washington University in Washington, DC. He attended Washington University in the St. Louis, Mo campus when he was in high school.
